I wish I had a use for this shelf. It’s just so charming! Here is its story… every day, as dawn breaks, French bakers rush freshly-baked baguettes to stylish iron frames like this one to cool and await sale. I could almost smell the pain au lait, pain au chocolat, and pain de sucre…mmm….. We visited Cabris, France in 2006 and I realized the French habitually pick up fresh bread from the local bakery every morning.
